The Election is Official

Yesterday, the Electoral College formally cast their votes for their respective presidential candidates.

Following all the hoopla and threats, ultracrepidarian pandering and pleading, and childish tantrums, when it was all said and done Donald Trump received the expected and requisite Electoral College votes and Hillary Clinton experienced more “faithless electors” than he ultimately did (and was legally prohibited from losing many of them).

As an observer of this election cycle dumpster fire I have to say that such partisan irony is a delicious turnabout.

I am not a Republican, but the way so many Democrats behave in the face of adversity and plain ol’ not getting their way sometimes makes me want to be one, honestly.
