I am going to abstain from engaging in the inevitable politicization of yesterday’s horrific events in Connecticut until such a time as a reasonable degree of facts are made available but my prayers and thoughts are with the immortal souls of the innocent victims of this evil individual’s (or individuals’) deeds, their respective families and friends, and the community in general. I would simply ask all those inclined to devote their prayers as well.
